What does the dog think of his fast walk? Seriously the slow has worked for me. The idea is to keep your heart rate in zones 1 and 2 which for me is under 150. You can go over it slightly when going up a hill but be prepared to bring it down quickly. Do we have to "run with the cows" in Ft Worth?

Your numbers are close to what I think mine are -
147 is the number that I try to stay below.
On this run I wanted to see what 135 would do for me. I was in a bad mood also.

The numbers will always fluctuate depending on conditions. Too much caffiene, not enough sleep, overtraining, etc.
