7 mile recovery run, time 1:10, AHR 146.
I have only run this far once in my life and that was more than 25 years ago.
I figure if I am going to do an Olympic I might want to run more than a 5k at least once.
We will see how if feel in the morning. Am I proud of 10m miles - your darn right. I hope by the
end of the season my recovery run will be down to 9 or below. I will have to fake as long as Rita is watching. If she thinks I am hurting she gets made at me. I can't figure that out.

Kudos on the 7 miler. Although most of your running should be long steady (even slow) runs trying to keep that heart rate in the desired zone, it is going to be track workouts that build speed. They really aren't that bad. In fact down right exhilarating.
She gets mad because if she thinks you are hurt, you are going to start complaining all the time and she will HAVE to listen to that garbage!!
Great job! So, you know an Olympic is a 10k...only 6.2...see, you own a wetsuit AND you can run a 10k! Are you thinking April 22nd target race?
BTW-Where did you get that wetsuit, brand, and $$?? QRoo may not come through! (Though Akmed told me to only get a DeSoto or Zoot...I think I'd like to save a bit of money by NOT listening to him!)
